Located in the rolling hills of Northern
California's Sonoma County, Montecito Park is in the city of
Santa Rosa and covers an area between Montecito Boulevard and
Badger Road. It's a place we find to be very compatible to the
sport. We are able to enjoy grass volleyball for most of the
year and we do. Tuesdays and Thursdays are designated for volleyball
and action starts from around 4:00 p.m. on -- on till dark. We
set up as many nets as we need. Whoever wants to play can...
and for free. Winners can stay on the court to play the next
challenge. It's kind of a local community thing where we all
get to play some good ball. Novice and up are welcome -- men's,
women's, coed. Competitive enough, we sometimes get challenges
from nearby areas coming to declare some turf.
Montecito Park also serves as a training/practice
field for the Cobras before they head out on weekends to play
in tournaments around California.
Come join us for fun, and consider this
a standing challenge to anyone within driving distance -- from
Napa, Marin, Sacramento or wherever. Come over to Santa Rosa
and play some volleyball with the Cobras.
